Hope Sacks™ is a weekend meal program that provides nutritious, shelf-stable food to children facing food insecurity. Many children rely on school meals during the week, but weekends often leave them hungry. Hope Sacks bridges this gap by giving kids reliable food to take home every Friday, ensuring they return to school nourished and ready to learn.

THE PROBLEM:
THE PROBLEM:
Hunger affects more than a child’s stomach—it impacts their ability to learn, grow, and thrive. In Greater Cincinnati and beyond, thousands of children don’t have consistent access to meals on weekends. Hope Sacks provides practical support and reminds families they’re not alone. Your support helps children feel seen, valued, and cared for.
At A Child’s Hope Int’l, we believe in a world where no child must wonder where their next meal will come from. As food costs at the grocery store continue to rise, more families are facing food insecurity and the stress of not having enough food to eat.

Children rely on free or reduced-price meals during the school year.

ACCESS TO FOOD:
ACCESS TO FOOD:
Hope Sacks turn weekends into a time of joy rather than struggle.
Going without enough food on the weekends can affect a child’s mental, physical, and emotional development. We work with community partners across Cincinnati to provide meals, through Hope Sacks, directly to kids who need it most.
